Cerrada rebozo/ Die Rebozoschließung

Ritual für das Wochenbett

Während meines Aufenthalts bei Hebamme Angelina Martinez in Mexiko durfte ich die Behandlung der Cerrada Rebozo kennenlernen. Rebozos sind mexikanische, farbenfroh gewebte Baumwolltücher, die zur Massage, als Tragetuch und auch als Schal verwendet werden. Vielseitige Verwendung finden sie in Mexiko und Guatemala z.B. in der Rebozo-Massage und in der closing ritual-Zeremonie.

Während der Zeremonie wird die neugeborene Mutter zuerst mit einem Rebozotuch massiert. Durch diese liebevolle Behandlung wird ihr nach der Zeit der Geburt und des Wochenbettes etwas Entspannung geschenkt, ihre Gebärfähigkeit und ihre Fürsorge für das Baby wertgeschätzt und geehrt. Anschließend wird sie in das Tuch gewickelt und eingehüllt. Dies soll beim Wiederfinden der eigenen Mitte nach der großen körperlichen und emotionalen Öffnung, welche die Geburt darstellt, helfen. Das closing ritual ist eine Zeremonie, um die zurückliegenden Erfahrungen in Wertschätzung abzuschließen.

Ich habe diese bei uns fehlende (oder vielleicht auch nur vergessene) Behandlung an unsere Frauen angepasst. Das Rebozo-Schließungsritual beinhaltet ein Gespräch über das Geburtsgeschehen und die Wochenbettzeit, eine Bauchmassage, eine Massage mit dem Rebozotuch, das Schließungsritual und Empfehlungen aus der Frauenheilkunde.

Sie kann von der Frau selbst oder von Freundinnen und Familienmitglieder als Geschenk für die werdende Mutter gebucht werden. Gerne kann eine für die Wöchnerin wichtige Frau beim Schließungsritual dabei sein und es mitgestalten.
